ENERGY STAR® CANADA
ENERGY STAR® is a joint green program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Canadian National Resource Council that helps consumers identify the most energy-efficient products on the market.
Energy efficient choices can save families about a third on their energy bill with similar savings of greenhouse gas emissions, without sacrificing features, style or comfort.
Columbia has obtained ENERGY STAR® certification on most skylight models including fixed and venting curb mount, self flashing, wood roof windows and sun tube.
Columbia Manufacturing offers the largest number of certified products.
How Does the ENERGY STAR® skylight program Work?
Canada is divided into 3 climate zones. The climate zones for which a window, door or skylight is ENERGY STAR® qualified will be shown on a label or on its sales literature. Simply choose a product model that is qualified for the climate zone that you live in.
